WHY YES FOUNDATION WAS STARTED ?

The idea was birth in the mind of the founder when he was responding to nature's call one fine morning . The idea was, why not create training programs that will be accessible and affordable or free for students that will enable them live purposeful lives.

THE CONTEXT

Students of this age are constantly pressurised from all quarters-media, friends,parents,etc and makes their lives miserable. Many give in to drugs,excessive alcohol, illegal activities, gangs, early teen sex,suicidal tendencies, sexual perversion, pornography addiction, emotional turbulence, obsession with brands, shopping, movies, mall with many unwanted consequences that affects their personal destiny, their family and the society they live in. They get carried away in a culture of fantasia and their concern is what people or friends think of them or what the media has created to be a Youngistan generation. The social mirror plays a very important role in shaping their social behaviour and many live fake lives and losing out their innocence at a very early age.

FOUNDER'S OWN PAST

Romeo was one such students, who came from a broken family with financial disaster. He had seen his father marry for the 4th time and lived through great psychological trauma. His dad divorced his mom when he was just 7 and he was caught in a dilemma of whom to stick to. He had no choice at such an age and was raised up by his dad. He wasnt rebellious by nature but the apathy and negligence of his dad made him sort of a rebel. His mom passed away when he  just completed his 10th standard. He slowly got involved in drugs-first exprimenting them and then peddling them too at a later stage.

MORE TRAUMATIC

He escaped many bids of the police and the underworld militants. Financial problem drove him to such steps as his dad did nothing apart from sponsoring his tuition fees. He was an adolescence with lots of peer pressure. He had no pocket money, no good clothes to wear, no money at all. At one point in 1997, he had even had suicidal tendencies and wanted to give up. He was a nuisance to the society. No parent would apporve children hanging around with him. His parents were scared of him. He was at a crossroad of no return.

THE CROSSROAD AND CHOICE

But divine Providence intervene and his dad sent him to Pune for futher studies as a last resort to keep away from the police and his illegal activities. For a year or two he struggled in Pune trying to come to term with his miserable condition as he didnt get proper financial support from his dad. He started started questioning God and one day in a fit of anger he threw the Bible to the ground and questioned God if He was at all faithful to His word. It was in the third year in Pune that his life changed. So now he wants to share the strategies with students who are facing similar or like challenges and help them overcome their external and internal challenges through the YES Foudation.

BACK TO THE PRESENT

Today, he is the President of the YES Foundation-touching thousands of students lives by his message of empowerment. He is also the CEO of LEAPS Management Consulting which is into providing Leadership,Performance and Culture solutions to corporate clients. He is also a Certified Neuro Linguistic Programming Trainer and MBTI Accredited Coach on Neuro scientific behavioural and psycholical types profiling. Additionally he is also a graduate of Breakthrough School of Ministry( Trinidad), an initiative of Congress WBN, whose focus is on individual, community and nation development.

THE MEANS

His plan is create programs in the form of seminars, video education, books, lectures etc to help empower the youths of today to become master of their destinies and rewrite their own script. His vision is to see the youths learn personal leadership and navigate their lives through the obstacles of students life and live powerfully. He now shares a wonderful spiritual relationship with his family beyond just biological ties.
